Illustrating Outsiders
S.P. Maldonado here and I'm the illustrator for Jared Davis' upcoming book, The Outsiders from Oz. I know that many people are very interested to see this book in print. I assure you that I am working on it and will try to get it done as quickly as possible. My life has been very hectic this year with me losing my job, going back to school, and busting up my knee. Now I have a break from school and I'm getting more pictures done. I just want to make sure the illustrations are as wonderful as the story that Jared has written. Thank you for your patience.

I'm sure people can understand how the stresses of real life can get in the way of other activities and how completing a project of this sort can be a lengthy process, especially if you want to do the best job possible. As someone who has had a little experience doing illustration work, I can certainly relate.
