This is from an adaptation of "Volshebnik Izumrudnovo Goroda," Alexander Volkov's Russian re-write of "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz." The title properly translates to "The Wizard of the City of Emeralds." In it, Oz is the Magic Land, Dorothy is Elli, Toto is Totoshka, the Scarecrow is Strasheela, the Tin Woodman is the Iron Woodcutter, the Wizard is named Goodwin, the Wicked Witch of the East is named Gingemma, the Wicked Witch of the West is named Bastinda, the Good Witch of the North is Villina, and Glinda is Stella.
